About Rykeyla
Meet Rykeyla B.
Rykeyla Bridges, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Author · PMHNP-BC · Speaker · Entrepreneur · Woman of Faith
Rykeyla Bridges is passionate about helping people experience healing that goes beyond the surface — healing that reaches the mind, soul, and spirit.
After losing her mother at eight years old and growing up without a relationship with her father, Rykeyla experienced rejection, abandonment, grief, and the lasting impact those wounds can have on how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.
She learned how to keep going. She built a career, became an entrepreneur, and accomplished many of the things she once dreamed of — but along the way, she discovered that functioning and healing are not the same thing.
Through psychological healing and a life-changing encounter with Jesus, Rykeyla began confronting the wounds she had carried for years and discovering her identity in Him. That journey changed her life and ultimately shaped the work she does today.
As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Rykeyla specializes in helping people heal from both a psychological and spiritual perspective, with a focus on the whole person.
Rykeyla is the author of Becoming Daddy’s Little Girl: Seeing Myself as a Daughter of God, a book and guided journal in one, born from her own journey of rejection, healing, and restoration.
Today, whether through her work in mental health, her writing, or from the stage, Rykeyla carries one message with her:
Healing isn’t simply about surviving what happened to you. It’s about becoming who you were always meant to be in Christ.
